Sauteed Gurame in Sweet Soy Sauce Recipe

Meet me again and thanks for join me. Today i will share to you the best of Indonesian recipe, it is sauteed fish in soy sauce. Actually this food is from Java island, did you hear about this island ?. If you know Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, this capital is located in Java Island. If you have planning to visit Indonesia, don't forget to taste this sweet fish. It is amazing food according to me. Right, for this recipe, we will use Gurame fish and sweet soy sauce as main ingredient.


Ingredients:
  • 1 whole gurame fish, clean it
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil
Sauce:
  • 2 cloves of garlic, slice in slim
  • 5 red onions, slice
  • 1 cm of ginger, puree it
  • 3 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1\2 glass of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 tomato, slice
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Method to prepare:
  1. Make 2 cutlets in both sides of fish. Then smear with turmeric powder and salt. Wait for 10 minutes
  2. Heat cooking oil in the wok or pan. Fry gurame until become crispy. Then drain it
  3.  Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, then saute red onion, garlic, ginger until fragrant. Add soy sauce and water. Stir well. Wait in 5 minutes
  4. Pour sliced tomato, red onion, stir well
  5. Pour carefully gurame in pan. Smear and stir well. Wait for 3 minutes
  6. Serve your food with hot rice
