Meet me again and thanks for join me. Today i will share special food recipe to you. Its recipe is "chicken satay recipe". I say it is special recipe because it is favorite food in Indonesia and i think you don't find in your country. So, i think to share this recipe in order to all friends know about Indonesian satay. Actually this satay will be very different with lamb satay. The difference is not juts in main ingredient, but in spices.
If you plan to trip in Indonesia, generally you will find restaurant next to the road with name "chicken satay", so yo can differ between lamb satay and chicken satay. In Indonesia, satay has many kinds, there are Madura satay, Lamongan satay, Padang satay. Chicken satay it's self actually is Madura satay...
Is it looked very delicious, right ?. Well, let's we begin to the recipe....
Main Ingredients:
- 300 grams of chicken meat, slice it in 2x2x1 cm
- 1 spoon of soy sauce
- 25 ml of water
- 19 skewers
- 1 tea spoon of cooking oil
- 50 grams of brown sugar (Javanese sugar), slice in smooth
- 1 spoon of powder coriander
- 1 ta spoon of salt
- 8 cloves of Cayenne pepper, slice it
- 5 cloves of red onion, slice it smooth
- 6 spoons of soy sauce
- 3 plates of rice
- 2 tomato. slice it
- Mix chicken in ground spices, then add soy sauce and 1 spoon of cooking oil. Stir with your hand, then add bit of water and mix well. Wait and pass over in one hour
- Stab chicken with skewers
- Then grill satay, smear with it's residual spices
- Mix well all of condiment ingredients
- Then serve your satay with condiment and sliced tomato
- Your satay is ready to be served...
