food. Actually this food is very famous in my country and you can find
it in every restaurant with name "Padang Soup Restaurant". Padang soup
is a bowl with beef broth and fried dried sliced beef, vermicelli and
potato's cake (prekedel). This soup is served in hot. So, today i will
share "how to make soup Indonesia ?". Thanks for join me.
Indonesian Soup
Padang
is a city in West Sumatra province. West Sumatra is one of Indonesia's
province near from Aceh and Medan Privince. Like other big provinces in
Indonesia, West Sumatra has many cultures and food tradition also, like
rendang, Padang satay and Padang soup. Okay let's we begin to create
this food.
Ingredients:
- 2 liters of water
- 750 gr of boneless beef
- Cooking oil
- 1 cm of crushed galangal
- 2 bay leaf
- 2 lemongrass, crush it
- 6 lime leaves
- 2 grains of clove
- 1 grain of deaf
- 2 tea spoon of salt
- 1 tea spoon of sugar
- 1\2 tea spoon of powder pepper
- 100 gr of vermicelli. Steep in hot water until become soft
- 6 perkedel (potato's cake)
- 5 grains of garlic, crush it
- 1 tea spoon of coriander grain
- 1 1\2 tea spoon of salt
- 1 1\2 pepper powder
- 3 spoons of cooking oil
- 6 grain of garlic
- 2 red chilis
- 2 cm of burned turmeric
- 1 cm of ginger
Fried condiment
- 3 spoons of cooking oil
- 3 lime leaves
- 6 red chili
- 3 grain of red onion (size is small)
- 1\2 tea spoon of salt
- 1\2 tea spoon of sugar
Complementary seasonings:
- 1 leek. slice it small
- 3 lime leaves
- 3 spoon of fried red onion (slice red onion small, then fry in cooking oil)
- 6 pieces of red crackers (you can choose other color)
How to create this ? let's we begin
- Boil water and pour beef, pour seasoning for boiled beef until meat become soft, then lift
- Slice boiled beef slim and widely
- Heat cooking oil. Fry sliced beef until fried
- Heat 3 spoon of cooking oil, then saute smooth spices, galangal, bay leaf, mashed lemongrass, lime leaves, clove, deaf, salt, sugar, powder pepper. Mix completely until become cooked. Lift. Then pour it into broth, boil it again
- Pour soft vermicilli and perkedel in bowl. Pour the broth in this bowl
- Serve it hotly with fried condiment.
