Hello friends meet me again, thanks for join me. Did you visit Java island, Indonesia. If you have visited Java certainly you would find it in restaurant or stall. Something you may know that you can find "siomai" is sold in anywhere in Indonesia. Siomai is most favorite food in Indonesia. Usually this food is sold in restaurant, stall and cart. Today, i will share about "how to make sioami ?" to all friends. Especially i will use the recipe from Bandung, West Java. If you plan to visit Indonesia, don't forget to trip in Bandung, and try the siomai below:
Okay let's we begin to make siomai from:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of minced shrimp
- 200 grams of minced chicken
- 200 grams of minced fillet fish
- 2 spoons of dried shrimp, fry it, then crush it
- 2 leeks, slice it slim
- Flour taste
- 150 grams tapioca flour
- 150 grams of peeled bengkoang smoothly
- 150 ml of water
- 4 red onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tea spoon of sugar
- 1 tea spoon of pepper
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- Fish sauce to taste
- Potato, slice slim but not too slim
- Cabbage
- Egg, boiled it, if it cooked, slice become two parts (serve egg as you want)
- Tofu
How to make it ? follow steps below
- Sublime the all main ingredients above, then mix them and pour fish sauce, stir them with your hand and make sure all of them are mixed. Add water and manage until the paste not to too liquid and not too hard
- Insert the paste inside the tofu and cabbage, then steam them...
- If it cooked, lift and drain..
Now, we make it's condiment:
- 100 grams of roasted peanut
- 50 grams of candlenut, roast it
- 2 cloves of fried garlic
- 2 red chili, steam, it
- 1 spoon of vinegar
- 1\2 spoon of salt
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 100 cc cooked water
How to make it's condiment:
Sublime all of them, mix completely....
How to serve siomai ?
Pour siomai in bowl then put the steamed potato then pour the condiment..right now, siomai is ready for serving. Thanks for join me, don't forget to try and share your creation to family..make them happy...
